This is July! Marking the first year of our little butter heads life. He is crazy fun and has a TON of personality. He loves to wrestle and eats a lot and gives me kisses whenever I ask for them. He's standing up on his own for a few moments at a time but is still mostly hanging on to the furniture and exploring the apartment, which means every cabinet or drawer his level is emptied on a daily basis. He says mama, dada, nana, baba and ball and he loves singing and clapping his hands. But his most favorite thing of all is being naked. It's a daily battle to keep him clothed and once he gets that diaper off he goes buck wild and starts hollering and crawling away from me. So here are some pics and a fun video of our daily antics, just me and Cache.

23 years
I turned 23 on June 28th and actually had a fantastic birthday! Justin made me breakfast and I got lots of cards and phone calls. We then took mom to the Alamo and the Riverwalk/boatride in downtown San Antonio, which was super sweaty! Then we walked around the huge rivercenter mall and we smelled a bunch of perfumes and Justin made a lot of funny faces and in the end his favorite was Juicy Couture's Viva la Juicy and mine was Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle so we got the Juicy because Justin is "the one smelling it everyday." haha, oh well, I did like it alot! Then mom watched Cache and Justin and I went to the water park at Sea World, just the two of us!!!! It was so much fun and just what I wanted, to spend some time with my lover! Then we got cleaned up and went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner. I liked it alot, more than Justin, and gorged myself on crab meat....and ended up with a very bad tummy ache but I was still very happy. The next morning I took mom to the airport at 5 a.m., first bad idea, was alone i.e. not with Justin, second bad idea, and was talking to my mom about a tense issue, third and final bad idea and I ran into a median. My first accident EVER! Stupid, stupid, stupid. Mom got on her flight and a cop came, Justin borrowed a car, got someone to watch Cache, we changed tire and $550.00 later my husband drove home with two new wheels and four beautiful titanium alloy rims. I think he knew he could push the envelope with the rims since I originally said the rusted ones the new car had would suffice. So he was happy his new car finally had the rims he had wanted and I didn't feel as bad since he got what he wanted. Lesson learned, don't drive when you're tired, sick on crab or talking about tough issues... All in all it was a good birthday, whew!

Fort Sill Bootcamp Graduation
I just got home last night, or this morning, I should say, from a very long roadtrip. I drove with my mother and Cache to Lawton, Oklahoma to see my youngest brother, Josh, graduate from boot camp. I could not believe the young man I met there. I was proud to call him my brother. He had lost a lot of weight, was kind and respectful and impressed me a great deal with the in depth knowledge of the weapons and different jobs and ranks in the Army. He told me he woke up at 4 a.m. everyday and made his bed and organized his locker and bags. I don't think my parents were too psyched at first but you know the video gaming zombie who treated them so poorly was absolutely gone. I think this was so good for him and he loves it. He is going into artillery training at Fort Sill in Oklahoma and hopes to be graduated from that program by April. I am incredibly proud of who I just met and am grateful to him and all of the other men in my family and country who serve. Three days away from Justin was hard for me and especially Cache, he clung to him this morning and cried when he left. So glad to be back with him!

Texas!
We have been living in San Antonio Texas since the end of April for a summer sales job til August. I have been super homesick but have curbed the sadness with fun adventures to the real Alamo of Texas, season pass to SEAWORLD and lots of cool museums and sites. We frequent the pool often and hang out with other wives. It's like 100 degrees here everyday and tends to have high humidity so not so fun for Justin. Cache has stood up by himself a few times and is just about to start running i just know it. He keeps me sane every day and I love my little monkey! I can't believe he will be one in July. We are flying to Florida for his birthday and a family reunion and HARRY POTTER LAND!!!! Can't wait to see the last movie and get a wand and have a butterbeer and see my family!!! Justin's oldest sister Cassie and her family came to visit over Memorial Day weekend which was such a treat since we don't see them at all in Idaho and her husband Danny leaves for Iraq in July. My mom is coming this Monday and will stay for a week which I am really excited about. I really miss all of our friends and family in Idaho and Michigan and basically wherever life has taken them. I am going to attempt to start knitting so we will see how that turns out...
